USA - PENNSYLVANIA Description: A hunting club that raises, trains ans cares for hounds and horses. It has about 50 hounds and 10 horses and is always raising new puppies and retraining former racehorses for hunting. Duties Hound care and feeding: including whelping puppies, vaccinations, worming and grooming. Horse care and feeding: including vaccinations, worming, farrier care and grooming Pedigree analysis for breeding hounds General barn and kennel management Training young hounds for entry in the hunting field Preparing hounds for sanctioned hound shows Assist in exercising the hounds for the upcoming season. Actual mounted days out paticipating in the chase learning how to assist with the sport and the hounds Learning how to use and utilize the GPS tracking system for the hounds during the course of a day of chasing. Landowner relations. Skills and experience required Experience with horses, hounds, or both 3-18 months Wage: 8.50$ per hour Accomodation included
