What to expect/ responsibilities As a highly motivated and passionate person you will help Sales Director: • Travel 3 to 4 days per week to participate in brand development in the field and collect data (NOT A REMOTE POSITION) • Be part of implementing the North American sales strategy and help achieving the goals set for your area of responsibility • Attract, find and recruit Saddle fitter/Sales representative in USA and Canada • Organize saddle fitting training and product training all year long • Support the sales representative of your team on weekly basis • Conduct of any investigation and market research deemed strategic to achieve the objective or to develop/adapt the business strategy • Participate in professional events within your area (horseshows, meetings, seminars...) • You are in it for the long haul, with the opportunity for growth. • You enjoy visiting Canada on a monthly basis. KNOW YOURSELF • You must enjoy living in the Northeastern states and be near an international airport • You love working outside with horses and spend your days talking about them • You are a social individual • You enjoy being on the road, flying on a regular basis, staying in hotels. • You are humble and like to learn every day • You are rigorous, organized and proactive • You want to live in the US for a long period of time and love visit Canada on monthly basis • You see this position like a lifestyle more than just “a job” • Legally authorized to work in the US (E1 visa sponsorship for French citizens) KNOW YOUR ROLE • You are aware that working on weekends is necessary since the equine industry never sleeps. • You are driven by a culture of results, you demonstrate perseverance, leadership, and a taste for challenge. • You want to demonstrate leadership in a multicultural environment. You feel a sense of personal fulfillment when you see people you helped succeeding in their careers. • You have ability to conduct change Education & Experience: What you’ll bring. • 7 years + of English riding experience minimum. You are a true horse advocate. • Knowledge on saddle fitting, tack fitting and right choice of equipment • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and team leading ability • An entrepreneurial spirit and business experience in the equine industry is a plus • Independent and positive person • Ability to speak, understand, and write in English is required. Knowledge of French is preferred (Quebec part of territory, communication with upper management in France)
